Brief history
City of Bor located on the opposite side of the Volga River to Nizhny
Novgorod,

For over 5000 years Ugro-Finnic tribes came here to live. Forests, rivers, lakes, water-meadows promised considerable rewards to those capable of mastering the area; most of them self-reliant farmers and crafts people. In 1847 the shipbuilding factory was founded there. Bor became an industrial city in Soviet Union after revolution. Key industries include glass works, building materials, machine building, metal working and metallurgy, heating, forestry and wood working, light industry, food processing, ship building, and an alcoholic beverages industry. Bor is Russia's leading flat glass producer, serving mainly the automotive and construction industries. The factory was created in 1934, it employs 7, 500 people. It is the leader in the auto glass and quality construction glass markets and also produces mirrors, double-glazing and tableware. Bor has population about 70 thousands. Our address is Dostoevsky 2 Street. A lot streets around named after famous Russian writers. Of course the best time here is summer. Three months vacation for kids. Neighbor friends. Birthday Party. Cycling. Swimming. A lot of berries from the garden.
